Well it's already bid to over 70 grand on FleaBay....
So the real question is "where's the value" --- is the value in the barn find? In which case you have to leave it a barn find - in which case you're then a museum...
Or is the value in Originality --- in which case --- you clean it up and leave it alone. To drive it - you'd find these cars weren't really very good cars...
Or is the value in the low milage... in which case you can't drive it much.
To pay 70+ grand for it and then try to make it a restoration candidate? Put what -- another 125 grand plus in it.... so now you have a 200 grand car...
It's food for thought that's for sure. But I think it depends on what you want to do with your money - and then what you want out of a car. A show car? Bragging rights that you have a barn find? Or do you want pristine performance car...
