Hell yes, the car hauler is awesome and you guys will have a blast.
Some time ago I flew to California with a buddy to buy an 86 T-type but with everything going wrong and a lot of delays we ended up driving back a 78 Trans Am.
Made it back from Carson City in 24 hours. Went through several tanks of fuel at redline and also lots of ephedrine.
Only thing I can suggest for this trip would be pick up a tow bar or trailer so you can bring 2 cars back with you
