There was a few issues with that car (ever check out the floor near the gas pedal ?) and it must have been ungodly loud for any cruising, but I still have the centerfold spread on my shop wall. Such an awesome design with a lot of new and innovative touches especially at the time. That car probably moved me as much as anything I'd seen before or since. Usually when a car is chopped and stretched that much, especially an icon, the end result is not as envisioned, but that is one car that actually looked better than its rendering.
It may have disappeared from the national / forum scene but It is still cruised regularly on Long Island.
