I think it would look reaaaal funny if its sitting high off the engine like they are on their cars, however if you had it sitting down on the intake, and converted the intake to efi and use a slim throttle body it could look pretty sweet.
I say just save up a little more and get a sheetmetal intake and not have anything to cover up
