I'll be interested in taking a look at this. James has the Tekniq release on the OLC car and it's a very nice unit and super tight.
What I don't like is that it requires two hands to release it.
While a release
can serve as a security aid and
can add convenience in cockpit maintenance it's real purpose is to aid egress in the event of something awful happening. One handed release is IMO a big part of that.
