To do it right since I'd never done a weld like that I needed to do a text piece.
First issue was inadequate ground, wire speed too slow, not enough hold-off, wire speed a little quick, rushing, etc.

I still don't have a good feel for wire speed on this machine.......acts very sensitive with a somewhat vague feeling input knob on the machine. 1-10 rheostat dial input that has little friction and 1/10th act they the make a difference........though probably not as much as my LOFT.
