Thanks James, the car is located in BC, which isn't far from my folks. I think they're more worried/concerned with having all the correct papers to get across the border.
I'm looking at the Customs and Border Patrol site now...yawn.
Clear as mud! Really it looks like a few forms from both parties and you're good, registering it may be another issue.
