Most of the aftermarket outlet fittings like what you bought are -6 AN fittings. Hydraulic shops call them JIC fittings. The flare angle is 37 degrees. Normal automotive fittings are 45 degrees.
The DSE fitting is likely to be a -6 AN, same as what you have.
What pump are you using? Is this for a Mustang Rack?
