I know most people suggest sticking with a single vendor because they design their products to work together...but I would like to do the suspension myself and the Quadralink may be beyond my personal installation comfort level.

I suggest just going Quadralink - average install time is 10 hrs from what I remember so at 60 an hour that's 600. I think that's worth the headache of getting jri/afco/koni whatever to work with the torque arm. Also seeing you have the subframe already the expensive part is out of the way.
