A built T5 will be the best shifting and most likely lightest weight of the choices. The TKO will have the notchy issue. You could to a 3650 but again not the strongest. Short of the 6 speed it looks like most 5spd choices are a compromise in one way or another. But I do agree a 6 speed is overkill and just added weight and cost.
