Decided to tear down the engine due to low compression readings.
Found this needle bearing cap floating around in the block (None were missing though):

Cylinder wall:
Water jackets:
Side of me just wants to get a new crate engine, but the practical side is saying to rebuild this one.
Any input will be greatly appreciated.
