No updates in forever...actually just got it in the garage a couple months ago. I finally started the body work on it...modified the core support and bumper brackets to work with my wedged subframe and fit some 2010 Camaro side markers in the fender. I like the style a lot better than the original one and it fits the lines pretty nicely. Body has a couple little rust spots but not bad at all. Very pleased there. Bought patches and an OEM fender to replace the POS aftermarket one it had.
Gonna redo some of the wiring while I have it apart. Bought weatherpack connectors and bulkheads to get it sorted out. Want to keep it as clean as possible since there will be an EFI harness going in too. And I've pretty much decided on ditching the Accel setup and going with a Holley HP ECM & harness. The used Accel kit I bought it pretty hacked...and not that user-friendly.
Mocked up the final ride height by popping the springs out and throwing some blocks under the axle due to lack of weight currently. It tucks the tire just how I want and leaves me with between 4.5" - 5" of ground clearance at the lowest spots. Hopefully that's all I need! haha
