I was trying to find out what I needed to do to be able to run Auto-X.
The stock ford computer will not know what vehicle it is running just that it will be a bunch lighter.

Where did that price come from? I would Guess like 2000-3000 maybe for an Electromotive. Haltech is maybe around the same. Megasquirt is cheaper, Motec on the other hand can probably end up expensive if you want to.. I think the hardest part to Control would be the transmission maybe?, the stand alone units can work inbetween Stock Control units.
But I see now that you are using the Complete frame from the newer car, so then it would probably be easier to use it as is. Just "bolt-on" a New body
