You won't see a crate LT4 release until after the Z06 C7 debuts in 2015. . (GM officials refused to speculate on the future availability of an LT4 crate engine when reminded that the LS9 eventually became part of the Chevy Performance catalog.)

Just to compare the engines, the LT4 has a smaller supercharger (R1740 TVS) than the LSA (1900 TVS supercharger). LS9 is TVS 2300. The best option would be an LS9 than the LT4 in your Camaro. Cost is higher when a product is first introduced, so don't expect the cost to be lower on LT4.
