I'm just kicking it around Preston, figured I post the massiveness of the parts. I looked at the Impala pin also, I just was digging on the bearing size of the GN. The Impala bearing wasn't any larger then a Mustang II, at least at the pin the diameter was the same. Keep looking at the GMR parts, they are made so well, I really just don't like the minimal bearing separation. In the end I will probably spring for the ZR1 parts, but I always need to weigh my options first.
I did get the fender tops formed, got one side tacked in before I ran out of mig wire.
