I had a few sets of those white KYBs in my old Mustang years (otherwise known as teens and 20s)--they should be sold with mouthguards, with a warning against the acquisition of awesome drifter dents on your quarters. The old school Konis are a huge improvement, but they do seem to need maxed-out adjustment on relatively mild (front) spring rates. I've only got about 600 pound springs (cut down a bit) on the front of my Falcon, and to minimize bob in the largest of quick rises in the road, I've needed full rebound adjustment. Nevertheless, the Konis are awesome, but technology has led to much nicer units (for lots more money). I believe the Konis still warrant solid vintage racer cred...

There's a dual-adjustable yellow Koni (instead of the red classic) that nobody seems to sell, but the people at Maeco Motorsports seem to have access...
