So I am getting closer to spraying my 69 Camaro. I keep thinking of spraying it disassembled. I have a pretty good back ground in the body shop business, but we never painted a whole car in pieces, mainly production collision shop. I am wondering what the tricks are to get everything back together other then be careful. Has anyone ever drilled and pinned the door hinges into the body or used a small screw for a alignment hole? Throught the door hinge into body side? What about the front fenders. Is it best to install inner fender to fenders then install them together? Any tricks of the trade would be greatly appreciated.
