So that's a funny story. I bucked the trend and ordered longer shocks than what RT thought they should be and what others with the same year/subfr are running. 4.1" of travel with a 10" spring and a 1.67 motion ratio. Originally the car sat high. Sort of like 4x4 high and I'm saying to myself "I f'd up again!" I was ready to and had designed an upper shock relo mount, as my LCA was pointing downhill a couple of degrees. Matt kept telling me to just wait and get the car loaded. I'm also aware good springs don't settle much. But the Hyprecos did. The car is at 23.5" at the center of the wheel to the bottom of the front fender. Same as some guys running the .5" shorter shock. I'm hoping I get plenty of travel... |
Ron, your springs haven't settled (yet). Your car just got fatter while it was away.
