I "think" the stock truck injectors won't work with LS1 fuel rail, since they're too tall for the lower profile LS1 rail. I was going to do the same thing for my swap and decided against it.
Holley makes decent set up. I'm running Holley accessory drive on my Firebird. Well thought out set up, the instructions were very good.
