On the passenger side it seems to have plenty of room, however on the driver side.....not so much.
I suppose when they did the quarters, that hidden gap between the skin and and the outer wheelhouse was not a concern. The sheet metal work is very well done and I can't fault it for that.
I'm considering knocking it loose at the lip and attempting to push it out, I only need to gain about 3/8". I like to replace the lip with 3/16" rod anyway.
I'll wait though, my wheels and tires are on the way.....325/30/19 which is 26.7" tall and 13" wide. After the mini tub, I've got 14.75" width in the tub. Extra space can't hurt but I'm not sure I'll need it.
Ideas?

Extra space is always good. Especially when you get the tires mounted and find out you need 15"
