Steve,
Since you are a Mac-dude I got to think about iPod integration. I guess you have seen what Apple have done with some major automanufacturers and iPod. BMW was the first but now plenty of companies has iPod support.
Wouldn't it be great to have that in a steering wheel like yours like the big ones have?
It wouldn't be to hard to fix really.
