One of the things you'll find is that with the AME pinched fixed chassis point behind the transmission - is that you won't be able to back the tranny out far enough to be able to remove it once the body is in place (forcing you to only be able to go DOWN with the trans for removal). At least that's the way it was in the '55 Chevy I built for a buddy. I ended up lifting the body off the chassis because at the point I was in the build - that was easiest then. It was that - or taking the motor / trans combo out the front as a unit.
You've got to be able to back the trans out far enough to disengage the input shaft from the clutch/pressure plate - before you can begin to drop the tail shaft down enough to clear the chassis -- regardless of whether or not you've removed the rear mount.
Just saying -- something to be mindful of -- especially with set up etc of these new hydraulic throwout bearings etc.
