I agree with that 100%. The judges got it right. If it was for something like the Ridler the Riv would have been the right choice, but the Nova was definitely the better Street Machine, in the sense that we know it now. I remember when a "Street Machine" was a totally different beast - think Rick Dobbertin...
When they announced it, I thought they got SROY wrong, but then I went down and looked at the brown coupe and the sedan again, and could see why they made the choice they did - again, in the
spirit of the competition...
