I did the 3" minitub from DSE. I ordered the 17x 8 with 4 7/8 and 17x11 with 7 Famosa. Was deciding between the famosa and fontana but my dad talked me into the covered lug cap. My top is manual so it wasnt a problem.

I'd go with the 315/35 in the rear. It'll give you a nice, stiff sidewall for better handling.
I went with the Michelin pilot sport. A well rounded tire with good performance characteristics.
