My guess is it went lean. All the messing around with the carb trying to make it work without the regulator may or may not have had something to factor in IDK. I was hard in to it when whatever it was let go. The exhaust was almost white instead of the usual dove grey.

Doesn't really matter to me... we'll just build it over or put something else in. It'll be up and running for the October 5 mile at Thunderhill. Should have all new suspension as well as tires and wheels... so that will be a complete new tuning and set up challenge. Ron Sutton Race Technologies will be on the job dialing it all in.



GAETANO..... all I saw when I checked my mirrors was you getting smaller and falling further behind. Lucky for you I had a pressure regulator fail and had to go to the pits to see what was wrong. That probably saved you some embarrassment. The skinny little 245's out gunning the steam rollers. Maybe more motor will help you next event? LOL
