I made a lot of progress over the weekend. I got all the parts back to assemble the rear axle. It has a C&R Racing Remmed gears that was run in at C&R axle dyno to make sure the frictional loses are good and it is quite. The housing is a steel Strange Engineer part so I could install the diff cooler. All the Detroit Speed brackets are welded on it. The axle ends are my design that uses the SKF bearing, production C-6 park brake and all C-6 Corvette mounting interfaces. The axle ends are dry due to a GM axle seal in the end of the axle tube in the tube end. The axle shafts are 300 M material that are gun drilled to save a little mass. I was also able to design a park brake cable that interfaces to a '69 Camaro so you can use the stock '69 Camaro park brake system.
