Will you be doing a rendering to help nail down a color?

Just curious.

Yup...Russ decided to add a bit to the drivers side tub rather than add a plate behind it. I didn't realize that the DSE mini tubs are cut for the 68/69 shock mounts. Those should be going in as soon as he's done with the frame.

I'd like to nail the paint down without a rendering. I did one for the original Plan B and it helped a lot, but they aren't cheap and I'd rather spend the money on parts.

I know I'm in the minority here, but I say dont paint it..Or atleast keep it white..Every Camaro out there is either Red Blue or Black..if you want to get exotic use a satin white like the audi R8 GT(dry carbon accents optional)
Actually your not the minority. A lot of guys have expressed the same view. The car really needs paint. It was painted early 90's is the guess and it was just laid over the original factory paint. It looks decent from 10' but any closer and you can see all the touch ups which looks like white out or tooth paste. Two things are keeping me from going with white. One is that I am seeing more than a few that are being/have been built recently that are white. Second is, that if the car isn't dressed right, it will look vary plain. My personal opinion is that these cars need to PoP a bit and grab your attention. My goal is to stay some what true to the classic of the car and add a bit of a luxury vibe to it. It's all about balance.

The AME parts are very nice and the support from Scott Randell has been over the top. Great people to work with. Russ said the rear frame went in fairly smooth and was one of the easier installs he's done. Always a good thing to hear. I can't wait to drive it!!
