I certainly hope you're right as, but we've had people bring in blown engines due to overheating that have used 1/4 mesh. If you blow air from an airline (which would be far less than the air pressure at speed) through anything 1/4" or smaller (which yours looks to be), you really will be surprised at how little air goes through it. I really didn't believe it myself until it was demonstrated. Sure would hate to hear that you've got overheating problems with it. Just trying to help.
