I helping a client right now that is trying to get a $325k car insured through State Farm who has the rest of his collection and they are asking for everything short of the blood type of the guy who manufactured the parts in the car.
Every insurance company is different... try someone else!

Just be aware that stated value does not guarantee a certain payout in the event of a total loss. You need agreed value for that.
