I have intermittent interference as well with my Holley efi set up but only after 5500rpm. The cable that connects to your laptop doesn't want to be anywhere near the distributor.

You should fly down and drive it back as soon as we get all of the bugs worked out!
Yesterday we found a wire in the wrong place and might be able to get it fired again this afternoon.
