" a compentent guy on the drivers side and a retard on the right". That is exactly what I said to my old man. I am now convinced that Dynacorn's JIG design is off. I had asked the salesman at CARS (Dirk) if they were breaking in a rookie on the pass side. The GL deck lid I have sucks (gaps on both sides) and even an original isn't much better. YR1's people said that Dynacorn will be making better aftermarket decklids soon. Either way, that pass quarter will have to come off and the pass door will need metal added to it and possibly even the drivers door. I haven't located the brackets and bolts that mount the top frame to the car, so I can't tell if my a pillars are off yet. I would like to visciously beat the editor of Hot Rod with a rolled up copy of that article proclaiming how great the production bodys would be.
I look forward to seeing more pics of your vert. I haven't done much to mine in a few months and won't be able to for several more. I will post some of mine when I get a chance. ( I justed started another tour in Iraq.)
I have only scratched the surface of the registration process, so I will probably hit you up for the gouge later on. My car is actually in Denton, TX, where I'm from.
YR1 is supposed to be releasing a guide to building a crate Camaro soon. Should be invaluable while putting one together.
