Richmond 5/6 speeds will not live behind a motor like that. I havne't used a TKO600 before but I hear they are nice. I know for sure T56's are really tough. I have a D+D viper which cost $2700, but you don't even need that. You can find T56's used or fresh for under $2000, I see used ones for $1200, all you need is better synchros, and a steel shift forks, only like $300 worth of parts.
