Not sure about that, I've seen plenty of 1000hp vipers and F bodies on near stock trannies running 9's. But beside that, I doubt in a protouring car that he is going to be hooking it up so hard he is going to break it. A 4-5000 dollar T56 isn't needed for 600rear wheel horse
