I think that you are looking for something like a factory Ford Inertia switch. They work in an accident situation by popping up mechanically from the force of the impact and interrupting the fuel pump circuit. Just push the switch down to reset. I know on the F150's the switch was located behing the passenger kick panel. A Ford dealer should be able to help you out (here is a link that explains the switch:
