not sure I would cut the intake
when you alter the intake it will change the performance of the motor. You will also need to have it re-tuned. I would look at changing the intake to something lower profile or have one custom built.
I would say lower the motor in the car by goint to the shorter style mounts, but then you will run into header and oil pan clearance problems.
