I'm not all that knowledgeable on this subject but a '63 Impala drop top doesn't sound like a track car, so I would convince him to keep the stock intake for driveability. |
He likes/wants the WOW factor and make some more power. Not worried about it being a track car. We have a 69 Camaro w/LS-9 in the pipe line that will be the more aggressive car for track.
