While I like the look of dished wheels, my practicality and engineering viewpoint takes priority. Think structural reasons.... have the spokes centered in the hoop. And up front for geometry reasons (scrub radius) you usually have hardly any dish at all with a well designed front suspension.

Function over looks IMO, although sometimes it's hard to give up the looks for better function.
