With the front sheetmetal now being assembled, we could final fit the headlight bezels and template for the grille mesh pattern behind the grille to be machined on the headlight plates and get cut for the 'mesh' part of the grille. This was tricky as the pattern had to continue from the open grille and pick up perfectly on the plates without the pattern having a seam or break.

The final result:
