Wow, this is really unfortunate. Hopefully this doesn't turn into yet another nightmare. So many people have been burned by supposedly respectable vendors in the car industry. Lie after lie on delivery date, then a lack of communication altogether. This sounds like a recurring theme with companies going out of business and taking people's money while on the way out.
I'd get a lawyer involved while there's still a chance.
