Just thought I'd share, since I suppose this is Japanese Pro-Touring. Picked it up Saturday for my new daily driver. Got tired of my C4 Vette breaking all the time, and wanted something fun with a backseat and a trunk. Ended up getting an 05 Subaru STi. Can't wait to finish the break in and start
driving it. So far, it's a blast. Another 800 miles until the real fun begins...
Still can't get used to the darn park bench on the trunk, today I was backing up and saw a flash in the rearview and slammed on the brakes thinking someone was behind me. Turned out to be that darn wing!
I also can't believe the stares this thing gets-- I figured it would from the "lowered buzzy honda crowd" but it's a lot more people than that. Then again, I think I have the only one in town. I can't begin to imagine how much attention it would draw if I bought the WR Pearl Blue car with gold wheels they had at the dealer. Looked fantastic but a bit too much "bling" for me.
We'll see how long it stays stock, +70-75 hp from an ECU, downpipe, and exhaust...
