Best to go with a gauge that shows vacuum and boost, better diagnosing down the road and you can catch any issues early.
Mechanical and electric is your own personal preference and of course how much you want to hurt your wallet, same goes with brand. I've used cheap brand boost gauges before and they have never let me down.
