Personally, I would get an uncoated one and then have it done locally. Looks like Holley has the castings coated and then does the machining. This is OK, but if you really want a custom look, I would have a bare machined intake blasted and even out the texture on some of the machined surfaces, then have the whole thing coated except for the critical mating surfaces.

I did just that with my Hi-Ram and will be getting it hard anodized later this week.

Personally, I wouldn't care if the finish wasn't exactly the same as the valve covers, chances are it's not a perfect match anyway. You don't necessarily want everything to be "matchy matchy."
