Well I finally got the rest of my Mac's pivot with the tall LS adapter. The powder coating came in chipped up I guess from shipping even though it was wrapped. It looks like it wasn't blasted before coating .Click to enlarge picture.
It's a little short to make it over the supercharger, about 2-3" would make plenty of room for the LSA. ( I noticed they used extensions on the 48 hour Corvette ) Right now it has to sit on the SC lid to get bolted together.
I would make extensions for the sides to raise it, but it also hits the coil mounts that are cast into the valve covers on the LSA,LS9 so it would need spacers on it where it attaches to the exhaust flange mating surface at the head. If Mac's says it alright to space it out I'll just make some or take the SC lid off. I guess I might be putting the Zl1 lid on sooner than I expected, since the lid might have to come off any way.
Here's a picture of it loosely bolted on, you can see its hitting the coil mount.
I'm thinking Maybe I can put a slot in it where the coil mount is and not need to space it out.
With it touching the coil mount this is as close as it gets at the top. with the other side up tight to the spreader.
