I understand I wrote it and I'm still confused!

In the picture above you can see the way the Mac's pivot LS adapter bolt to the engine where the exhaust manifolds bolt to. I have to space that part 9/16" away from the head so I can clear my coil mounts on the valve cover.

In this picture you can see where it hit the coil mount. Sorry for blurry pic. Click to enlarge pics.



To get it to clear it needs a 9/16" or 5/8" spacer. Because I have to space out the bottom I need to space the top where it bolts to the spreader. So there would be a spacer here and where it bolts to the exhaust port.

Please disregard the tape measure in the pic.



Not sure if this helps??

One other thing I thought of was blowing some holes in the upright where the coil mounts are, not sure if that would weaken it too much.



The faint pencil marks are drawn around the coil mount.
