Well the comment was partly in jest. The real purpose of the post was to figure out what wheel diameters the car is running, but since you asked . . .
The car doesn't have a 700hp engine in it at all. It has a crate GM 525 which arguably may or may not produce 525hp. There's some discussion about that on some other boards. The reason it has that motor is because they blew the original.
The Hellcat makes well over 707hp at the crank, and does so with incredible reliability, something that can't necessarily be said of a 700hp ls7. The Hellcat comes with a full factory warranty and you won't find any warranty on a 700hp ls7 so that should tell you something right there about reliability. This also assumes you can cool the motor and the intercooler properly so it doesn't heat soak at the track - not a trivial task.
Also in terms of power and torque, it's all about area under the curve, something which an sc motor excels at. So quite frankly, the hellcat would be a very good choice for a car like this.
But like I said my comment was mostly in jest as there is no hellcat crate motor currently, and given the fact they can't build them fast enough to put into Challengers and Chargers, it'll be quite a while until there is one.
