The 700R4 doesn't have a "kick-down" cable, the cable you see controls several functions inside the tranny, not just kick-down. This cable needs to be adjusted properly or it can damage the tranny due to improper pressures inside the tranny. The cable also does not have a linear pull, but is pulled at a specific ratio (varies through the pull I think). We got our brackets through Summit, TCI was the brand if I remember correctly.
What sort of induction are you using?
