Buy whatever tires you want, say from
www.tirerack.com or whatever to only obtain the tires themselves - nothing out there that says what tire you can buy over the counter for what ever purpose. Obtain physical possession of them, then take your rims and tires to just about literally any place that can mount and balance them and be done. Call it a specialty offroad / special purpose vehicle or whatever (been there done that countless times). It relieves 'them' of any determination of actual use, blinding them to only the (simple) task at hand of "mount and balance".
