I have wondered how much load the upper shock mount is subjected to. There have been a number of adjustable upper mount designs over the years and I've not seen one break; doesn't mean it didn't happen and if it did happen at speed ... it could be catastrophic!
Anyone know mow much force is exerted on the upper mount? And how to measure or ensure it is reliable?
