I apologize for not being able to offer any insight into this matter, but I am also curious about the use of motor plates.

I would imagine that you can sent the plates at a slight rearward decline, to satisfy the driveshaft angle. But if you have a motor plate in front, then don't you also need one for the back of the engine, as well? Does the rear plate require spacers for the transmission?

I don't know, hopefully someone will chime in with some solid knowledge.
