Default Engine and Headers test fit

Ok for some more updates; Still plugging away at this thing. Couple issues have arose first around engine fitment. I knew the dry sump was going to be close but until I could get it in I didn’t know which way. I’m using the DSE subframe with the 1 ½” offset motor mounts and when I reviewed and checked my dimensions with Bill at Dailey I knew it was going to be tight……well it turned out be about ½” too tight so we had to modify the subframe.
Dry Sump clearance

Here’s the results,….had to modify the motor mount and move the nut plate to accommodate along with a “notch” to fit the pump and pan.

Headers
Also grabbed some headers on line….2” Lemons. I spoke with Dan at lemons and he assured me that they we’re built to fit the DSE subframe and they do “kinda”. I believe they would’ve fit just fine if I didn’t have the 1 ½” offset motor mounts. Very slight rub on the passenger side, probably 1/8” at the most. I’ll notch the a-arm perch to fit it, but nothing major. Really happy with the way they fit regarding ground clearance and engine compartment

Very happy with the ground clearance……
